Trustees & Administration
Amnos Ministries is a charitable company limited by guarantee. It is registered with Companies House in Cardiff (number 7505282). As a registered charity it is also regulated by the Charity Commission (number 1141888).
Amnos Ministries is governed by a Board of Trustees. The trustees will seek to increase the size of the Board in order to expand the range of skills of this body. The present trustees are:
Gareth Jones - Trustee
Gareth has worked as a solicitor in a city law firm since qualifying in 1980. During that time, he has served on the leadership team of a Baptist church in south London and on the parochial church council of Emmanuel Church Northwood where he is a member. In these church roles he has advised on matters such as church governance and implementing change and new projects. He is married to Siân, a consultant gynaecologist, and they have two grown up children.
Ps Peter Jordan - Trustee
Pastor Peter Jordan is currently the Senior Minister of Sawyers Church in Brentwood. A vibrant church in the heart of Brentwood that aims to see people from every culture, background and age group find the Lord Jesus as their Saviour and be discipled to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Peter is an Assemblies of God minister who has experience in many different areas of ministry including church planting, small groups, street pastors, chaplaincy and training and mentoring new ministers. He has also worked with key leaders in the Christian World including Nicky Cruz. Peter is a former Police Officer of 25 years’ experience. He is married to Theresa and has two children, Tyler and Kiara.
Joseph Mathai - Trustee
Joseph is a retired General and Vascular Surgeon who spent over two decades working in a busy District General Hospital. He served for several years on the Leadership team at Trinity Church, Brentwood, where he and his wife, Sarah, still worship. They have two adult children who live and work overseas.
Carole Finegan - Secretary/Administrator
In her previous fellowship, Carole enjoyed her role as church secretary alongside two full-time pastors and, for a time, she served as secretary for the Brentwood and District Evangelical Fellowship (BADEF). More recently, she has been working as a communicator-guide, by supporting deaf and deaf-blind people in their everyday lives. Carole lives locally with her husband Bryan and has been a committed member of Trinity Church, Brentwood since 2008. Both of her children are married; her daughter is a teacher of modern languages in Hong Kong and her son lives and works in real estate in New Zealand.
