Welcome to Amnos Church Planting School. Thank you for your interest in the work of the School, our vision and God’s mission.
Amnos Ministries exists to help see the UK and Europe reached with the Gospel. To help towards this we run a Church Planting School; a 10 month training programme that will enable and equip disciples of Jesus to plant churches that plant churches.
Planting new churches is always hard work and yet is simpler than many think. Our graduates often say how much confidence they have gained from the course as they are equipped. Amnos presents a sustainable model that enables an individual to plant from scratch with minimal funding. We need more planters, could God be calling you today?
Our goal, mission and focus is to train and equip Christian believers who are called to evangelism, disciple multiplication and church planting. If you are interested in enrolling we would be keen to equip you and see you grow God’s kingdom across the UK and Europe.
It is important to us that each student is prepared physically and spiritually and has confidence for the task ahead. We emphasise a heart, head and hand approach (spiritual, academic and practical) in all we do. This can be seen throughout the following four facets of our training:
- Spiritual training in discipleship – prayer, devotions, fellowship, Bible handling/understanding.
- Training in all aspects of evangelism – theory to practice.
- Pastoral care – growing in pastoral effectiveness and maturing disciples
- Character training – an important element that is hard to assess but a significant integrated part of Amnos training as students become more Christ-like and match-fit for the specific task of planting and pastoring new churches.
- Going into the harvest and sowing the seed of the Gospel (evangelism),
- Growing and nurturing disciples of Jesus (discipleship),
- Seeing churches grow as these disciples Gather together and raise up leaders or Guides in order to multiply the ministry/the tree planted bears fruit (i.e. multiplication).

The Church Planting School has three main focuses: evangelism, discipleship and multiplication. The Amnos logo embodies and helps explain these phrases of growth.
